Hang out in the Treetops

Go Ape! Treetop Adventures has plenty of excitement for the entire family. You will surely have fun maneuvering through obstacles in the treetops and zip lining down to earth. Go Ape! Treetop Adventures, like everywhere else in the Williamsburg, has a rich history. Freedom Park sits on land that was once the setting of a Revolutionary War battle. The course is made up of 38 crossings and obstacles, including rope ladders, net bridges, trapezes, Tarzan swings and zip lines.

Yorktown

Yorktown

The scenic Colonial Parkway will bring you back almost 175 years to the Jamestown Settlement and British capitulation at Yorktown. General Cornwallis surrendered to George Washington at Yorktown Battlefield and essentially ended the American Revolution, but few people know the full story unless they visit this historic site. Not far from the battlefield is the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. This modern museum has even more living history for families to experience. Don’t forget to stop in the charming historic town for a bite to eat and a walk along the York River.
